Micro X Quadcopter

Micro X Quadcopter

I designed this quadcopter frame with ease, using PLA to bring it to life and fit the motors + board from a Syma X1 quadcopter perfectly. The arms are slightly longer than expected, but that's because the Syma X1 circuitry demands larger frames to minimize wobble. Any smaller dimensions would result in excessive wobble, making flight impossible. So I extended the arms to reduce this annoying problem. Excessive wobble was driving me crazy! For those who want more control over their design, I've made the original parametric design available on Onshape right here - just click and you can change dimensions as needed: motor size, board size, anything!
