** UPDATE: v20 flew!!! Video here: https://youtu.be/3CoqVG1Idjo --> Needs some tuning and maybe a bit of rework, but it flew! :)\r\n\r\n** UPDATE: v13 is complete and ready to maiden. Only concern is CG... right now it's a bit aft of where I'd like it. Will try it and see... may be able to lighten the rear by removing the paper on the foamboard. Otherwise, Need to design a longer nose... which wouldn't be a bad thing as the room for a battery is tight.\r\n\r\n** UPDATE: v20 files include top hatch latch mechanism (= paperclip bent just right) as well as some fillets to reinforce the FC mounting posts.\r\n\r\nPrototype of a micro wing pod. Basically just print the pod and then draw up your favourite wing and stick them together. \r\n\r\nPrinted with 5% support material density and thin infil otherwise.... keep it light. Support material is tough to get out - you'll need some long needle nose pliers. But it's worth it to have a unibody result.\r\n\r\nThe hatch on the rear allows for connecting motor wire bullets to the esc. Just tack it closed with dabs of hot glue. The you can reopen later with a bit of rubbing alcohol (which releases hot glue).\r\n\r\nThe front hatch needs work. Right now it just rests on the back ledge and is taped down for flight. That's fine for weight savings, but if you wanted you could design in some small magnet mechanism.\r\n\r\nAlso note, the vertical stab has some odd occlusions / imperfections. Haven't figured out what Fusion is doing there.... I had to add a bit of extra material on the inside/under the stab to keep it from being free floating when it was exported to STL/gcode. I've fixed it enough for now, but would like to get a fillet running around the base, but that's not currently working in F3d. Future update.\r\n\r\nHave fun, print at your own risk, and PLEASE link/upload any remixes here.\r\n\r\nCheers,\r\nJ.
