I designed this piece to prevent pocket lint and debris from entering the charging jack on older smartphones. It features a tab that slips under the phone cover, ensuring it stays put while charging. To achieve optimal results, print it in TPU. As I iterated through different versions to fine-tune the fit, I noticed the snugness of the fit depended heavily on the condition of the micro USB jack - new jacks resulted in a tighter fit, while abused ones were looser. The included STL model strikes a good balance between length and diameter, accommodating my collection of devices well. Scaling the model within your slicer allows for effortless adjustments to fit specific devices and printers.
