Micro USB Cable Retainer for Redpark Gigabit + PoE adapter for iPad

This was designed to keep a micro USB cable securely plugged into a Redpark Gigabit + PoE Adapter for iPad (L6-NETPOE) from coming loose. It also serves as a strain relief for the connector. In an ideal scenario, this wouldn't be necessary - the micro USB cable that comes with it has a high-quality feel and the plug itself has a decent spring-loaded grip on the connector. Still, to avoid another service trip, I'm installing these on all of our semi-exposed locations where it would be easy to accidentally unplug the connector or break it by handling it roughly. This is a greater possibility. The photo shows the retainer in its halfway position - once there's room, insert the micro USB cable and then carefully slide the cover fully into place. You might need to apply pressure to the cable to prevent it from deflecting. The Ethernet cable should fit snugly against the adapter's wall, locking in the USB cable. Depending on your printer's tolerance, you may have to tweak the design slightly (for example, printing at 100.1%).
