Micro Torch Safety Switch / Latch (Harbor Freight)
thingiverse
My trusty handheld blowtorch took a nosedive and its safety mechanism snapped in two, but I managed to repair it with glue and take precise measurements. The tolerances are somewhat snug, which might actually work to your advantage if you prefer having the switch firmly in the "fire" position. Additionally, the spring hole is quite tight and may require enlargement. Once you've cleaned up the area to your satisfaction and achieved the desired tension, you can stop sanding. I printed my torch at a layer height of 0.06 and opted for 100% infill.\r\n\r\nP.S. When disassembling your torch, be sure to log the process carefully and pay close attention to every detail. To get started, gently lift the sticker covering the housing's top surface. You may also want to consider swapping out the spring in the switch or adjusting the tension by modifying the shape or depth of the hole.
