Micro torch base

Micro torch base

When my buddy relocated to China, he handed over a few of his belongings to me. Among them was a butane micro torch he had purchased for caramelizing the top of creme brûlée. However, I envisioned other uses for it. Unfortunately, the stand was missing and it wouldn't balance on its own. So I designed my own base, tailored specifically for the Roburn MT-770 Microtorch that he gave me. The ID of the base is 37.5mm. To showcase the printing process, check out this timelapse: https://youtu.be/jXVyadBm6X0Printer settings are as follows: Printer: i300Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.26 Infill: 7% fast honeycomb Notes: 2 perimeters, 3 bottom layers, and 4 top layers. It took my printer approximately 32 minutes to complete the print using these settings. I printed this item with MakerGeeks' Raptor higher-temp PLA in Vivid Green. The design process began on Onshape, a platform where I'm starting to get creative ideas flowing.
