Recently dissatisfied with the restricted X/Y travel on my Prusa Air 2 I required compact end stops. Employing economical and widely available micro switches, I designed this housing with two types of arms: one standard plus one for Z stop adjustment. A single M3 Allen head x 30mm bolt, two plain washers, and a Nyloc nut are needed. Additionally, a spring is required if you prefer fine adjustment on the Z endstop arm version. The design features an eight mm smaller profile than standard ones; this setup works well for me. An update was added on October 7th, 2015, incorporating a housing that fits onto a ten mm diameter rod, as opposed to the original eight mm rod size. Future enhancements might include LED indicators.
