# A Box for an 11.5 mm Micro Switch This box makes a perfect addition when you need to accommodate a micro switch. Simply insert it, close the lid, secure it with glue anywhere desired - that's all there is to it. This box can easily fit a 11.5 x 11.5 mm switch. I use it as an on/off switch for my Raspberry Pi devices (connect it to pin 5 and 6). ## Usage This box is designed in two parts, allowing you to solder necessary wires to the switch's legs. Then, guide the wire through the box's windows. Take the L cap and push it into the main part so it forms a complete box (which it should be, based on its title). # Notes on the Design This design was created from scratch using Blender. Interestingly, it proved surprisingly difficult to create a mechanism that slides together seamlessly. # Post a Make It would bring me immense joy if you could post a make of this project. # Thing History The current version is 3.1, which experiences significantly less friction when the L-Cap is inserted into the main box. Version 3 was the initial publication on this platform. Early versions 1 and 2 had major design flaws and were not published.
