Micro Swiss Direct Extruder Cable Guide add-on
thingiverse
This is a first attempt to make a cable guide for the Micro Swiss direct extruder upgrade available for both the Ender-3 and CR-10(S) models. I used the cable chain design from this page: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2920060 as a reference. To set it up, I turned the extruder stepper motor 90° clockwise so that the end of the cable chain is exactly in the middle on top of the stepper. Also included but not needed is a simple BLTouch holder design which fits directly onto the direct extruder. The motor clip has a small cutout for a little PCB where I placed some pin headers to interface with the BLTouch because the cable from the sensor is rather short. For the filament feeding side, you may need to change the diameter of the PTFE tube hole, but in my case it just fits. One thing that still needs figuring out is how to lay out the PTFE tube in front of the printer's frame, as especially on the Ender-3 model a large amount of the maximum building height gets lost.
