Micro Swiss Direct Drive cable chain mount mod
thingiverse
I beefed up the hot end side mount a bit, as the original one seemed too flimsy. I also created an extended version that provides extra support for the first part of the curve, preventing the chain from leaning down and dragging along the x-axis. Printing it is next on my agenda; if it doesn't work as planned, I'll report back here. I had some spare drag chain lying around, so I modified this base to accommodate it on the X axis. Additionally, I obtained more chain for the Z axis. The Micro Swiss end was initially set up for the original drag chain's end mount, while the bottom rail mount was designed for the new chain end. If you prefer both chains to use the same mounting type, you'll need to modify the Micro Swiss end to accept the 3-hole mounting points. I'm sharing this information in case anyone wants to utilize it and has some spare 10x15 chain lying around.
