DEPRECATED DESIGN

Please be aware I am not developing this design any further.

This is v2, an upgrade I think to the previous version.

Made of 5 parts that are much easier to print.

Screw them together with M2.5x10mm Socket Head screws.

Designed this for those requiring a basic and reasonably compact Micro Swiss compatible hotend cooling duct modeled off Crealities Ender 3v2 OEM fan shroud with part cooling pointing either side of the nozzel using the two stock fans.

You need to thread tap the top two v-slot roller mount holes on the front of the Micro Swiss extruder plate for this to mount.

I mounted the hotend cabling so it routes to the front and left side using the angled cable restraint on top with the cable passing by the x-stop cover plate. This is so the cable does not get bound up in the top cross member extrusion when the Z-axis is high.

Look for my stil file of the cable restrint that mounts to the x-stop cover.

I printed all the parts in PETG to handle the heat from the hotend. Has 2-3mm clearances from the silicon sock.

2/M6x8mm button head hex socket bolts.

1/M3x8mm button head hex socket bolt.

10/M2.5x10mm Socket head screws.

Works for me!
Category: 3D Printer Parts
