Micro-snyc receiver mount
thingiverse
This is a test of how securely a Microsync receiver can sit within this mount. Normally, the mount wouldn't be necessary because the receiver is designed to plug directly into a strobe powerpack or generator. However, when used with a hotshoe-based flash and a cord to fire the flash, the mount might be needed. This is my fourth Sketchup design that I have created. The receiver fits very securely within the mount. It can be screwed in place, taped, or glued in place - carpet tape or foam tape would be my preferred method. The receiver simply slides into place. Avoid trying to press it and snap it into place.
