Micro Snowflakes - from the Snowflake Machine

pinshape

These teeny-tiny snowflakes measure about 15mm across and were crafted with the Snowflake Machine: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159436. The models are optimized for printing on an Ultimaker 2 using ABS and the special .25mm nozzle paired with the Olsson block, at "Ulti quality" 0.04mm layer height. If you're in the mood for small snowflakes that have already been tested and are ready to go, then print the demo models. But it's way more fun to create your own, so head on over to the Snowflake Machine! https://www.thingiverse.com/th... Set the "Target Diameter" to 15mm in the "Global Size Settings". For this size you'll need to reduce the number of steps to 4-5 and keep the thickness of the strands down by setting low values for "fat" and "organic". You may also have to keep "fuzzy" and "full" parameters at a minimum.
