micro-sketch

Hi! This is my printable version of the classic etch-a-sketch / telesketch, a plotter-toy that lets you draw what you imagine by rotating X-Y knobs. It works perfectly with a marker or a pen on a 15x10cm drawing area. The X-axis moves the entire paper, just like the Prusa Y-axis moves all bed parts. The design has many parts and can print mostly without supports - I really hate having to deal with them! I've organized the parts into six files based on impression parameters and print order for easy assembly. Included are a PDF with assembly instructions and some helpful tips. You'll also find a ZIP file containing all the STL files for each part, as well as 123D Design files. Check out the Print Settings for more details. By the way, sorry if my English isn't perfect - I'm from Spain and it's not always easy to write in English. UPDATE! The ZIP file 'all_parts_separated_update.zip now includes STLs with all pieces merged - old files might cause problems with some slicing software. Redownload if you have trouble with separated parts in the STLs! UPDATE 18-Sept-2016: ScienceMadeFunner has published a great video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM1SavDy5Rc) showing how to print, assemble and play with MicroSketch. Check it out! You can also watch a Spanish-language version of the video on The3DMates' channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwQ4KaJzf6A. Have fun!
