micro-sketch

Hey! This is my printable version of the classic etch-a-sketch / telesketch, a plotter-toy that lets you draw what you imagine by rotating the X-Y knobs. It works great with a marker or a pen on its 15x10cm drawing area. The X-axis moves the complete paper, just like the Prusa Y-axis (moving all bed) inspired it. This project has many parts and can be printed mostly without supports - I hate supports! I've organized the parts into six files based on print parameters and order of printing. A PDF with assembly instructions and some tips is included, as well as a ZIP file containing all the STL files for each part and 123D Design files. Check out the Print Settings. Also, sorry if my English isn't perfect - I'm from Spain and writing in English can be tough for me. UPDATE! The ZIP file 'all_parts_separated_update.zip now contains STL's with all pieces merged (old files might cause problems with some slicing software'). Redownload if you're having trouble with separate parts in the STL's. UPDATE 18-Sept-2016: ScienceMadeFunner published a great YouTube video printing, assembling and playing with MicroSketch - check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM1SavDy5Rc Video en Español: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwQ4KaJzf6A (The3DMates) Have fun!
