Micro servo adaptor/ steering bars with rod/pinion and gears for GT2 and printed axle
thingiverse
I've made two adaptations to get the project up and running. First, I didn't have a miniservo, so I narrowed down the hole of the servo coupling and used an adapted mount for the micro servo instead. I wish I could recall where I found that model, but I had to remix it from scratch. Second, I'm missing the rod end (the metal ones you'd typically find in RC), so I turned to this alternative (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3269552) and tweaked it until I ended up with two sturdy bars. It works remarkably well, although not perfectly like its metal counterpart. Third, my GT2 belt had slightly different dimensions, so I had to get creative and make some adjustments. The remixes I used were from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3544542 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16627, respectively.
