Micro Router Table
cults3d
I originally made a very small router table using a Makita Handheld Router, but had to scale it down to fit on a single 1kg spool of plastic filament, which takes about that much material. I've been using this miniaturized router with fillet templates and flush trim bits to cut panels for an adaptive kayak seat the Environmental Traveling Companions are building. After printing, parts of the clamp may need to be separated from the shell with a small spatula. Two M3 socket cap screws can be used under the clamp to prevent it from wearing out in those areas. The rubber base is optional, as is the geared wheel - leaving it out might be better because material can get stuck in the gears. I also created a larger mini router table that's 240mm wide compared to the one shown (which was 180mm), but I haven't tried printing the bigger version yet.
