Micro RC Turret Double barrel (prototype)
thingiverse
https://youtu.be/V2E70_LQuh0 Still a work in progress, requiring further refinement. Operates seamlessly with a mini 9g servo, although metal ones perform even better due to increased torque. The mechanism functions effectively, but needs fine-tuning for more consistent firing results. Unfortunately, the small rubber bands used can be frustrating, as some fail to adhere properly while others shoot perfectly. To achieve optimal performance, it's likely necessary to reduce the ammo capacity and increase the height of the step-ups. Currently, the model holds up to 12 rounds. Notably, successful tests have been conducted with metal 9g servos, firing a maximum of 10 rounds. In contrast, plastic servos only manage to fire 8 rounds. To assemble the model, holes were drilled on the sides using an 1.8mm drill bit. The pieces are held together using glue and small fragments of filament.
