Enjoy my new 3D design for a brushless micro quadcopter, inspired by the brushed quadrocopter concept of stylesuxx. This design utilizes 2.5 inch propellers and 2S lipo batteries in combination with high-performance brushless dyn 7000kv 1104 motors. The AUW (all-up weight) of this micro quadcopter is approximately 140 grams, utilizing a 850mah battery pack. Thrust levels should reach around 150 grams per motor with 2S and 2540 tribalde props. With its remarkable punch, it's no wonder this design packs quite the punch. If you do crash, be prepared for potential damage, but rest assured that your components will still receive adequate protection. Most of the time, you'll be able to repair the frame using superglue or a print pen. Moving components to a new print is done within minutes. My flight control board has been flashed with betaflight 3.2.4 at standard PID settings and with dynamic filter enabled. Only rates have been adjusted for optimal performance. If you decide to add a small action cam, be prepared to retune your PID settings and fly more conservatively. However, this design will comfortably carry a Mobius or Runcam 2, providing you with stunning 1080p footage. The runcam split mini appears to be an ideal fit for this frame, but it does require effective dampening. Rest assured that I'll keep you updated on any progress I make towards finding the perfect solution for this issue. If you have access to flexible filament, consider printing the TPU motor mounts to reduce vibrations on your frame. This has proven to be highly effective in my experience. You may also try printing short standoffs using TPU. Additionally, I've found that mounting my FC board onto slices of "Oropax" earplugs works surprisingly well. This design is compatible with all standard FC sizes, including 30.5mm, 20mm, and 16mm frames. It's capable of carrying a Runcam Split 1/2 or Runcam Split Mini. For standoffs, use M3 screws for the frame standoffs and 30mm flight boards (10x). For 20mm or 16mm flight boards, use M2 screws (4-12x). I've also included a tiny bit screwdriver in case you encounter any difficulties reaching the cam mount – it may prove useful. I'd be overjoyed to see your make and receive some feedback. Update 1: I've fixed the medium standoff floating issue and added standoffs with mounting holes for Runcam Split Mini. Update 2: I've added better standoffs for Runcam Split Mini and an alternate frame design. Update 3: I've added another frame design, offering improved stability but slightly increased weight.
