Micro quadrocopter - exchangeable semi ducts - Beecheese frame V11

I'm excited to share my latest 3D design project, a brushless micro quadcopter that takes inspiration from the brushed quadrocopter idea of stylesuxx. This tiny flyer uses 2.5-inch propellers and a 2S Lipo battery in combination with high-performance 1104 motors spinning at 7000KV. The frame weighs approximately 32 grams when using the ducts, but you can reduce it to around 23 grams by printing the low-profile protectors. The AUW (All-Up-Weight) of this micro quadcopter is about 140 grams with a 650mAh 60C 2S battery pack and including the Runcam Split Mini. With 2S power and 2540 Tribalde props, each motor should produce around 150 grams of thrust. This gives it quite a bit of punch! If you do happen to crash, don't worry - the frame does a great job of protecting your components, usually only damaging one prop guard. You can easily replace that in no time. To make flying even smoother, I've flashed my flight control board with Betaflight 3.5.2 and enabled dynamic filtering. If you want to add an action cam, be prepared to retune your PID settings and fly a bit more cautiously - but it'll still handle a Mobius or Runcam 2 for some great 1080p footage. The Runcam Split Mini fits perfectly on this frame, as long as you use good dampening. I've found that using Ohropax earplugs and a rubber band does the trick (check out the second picture). If you have flexible filament, try printing the TPU motor mounts to reduce vibrations - it worked wonders for me! I also mounted my flight control board on slices of Ohropax earplugs. You can mount your usual FC size with 20mm screw distance. The frame will fit M2 screws for standoffs and 20mm flight boards. If you're interested in making one yourself, I'd love to see your build and get some feedback! Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/1Wtx3FIi-ik Here are the components I used: * Screws & Nuts: + 6x M2 7mm screws (duct mount) + 3x M2 7mm screws (topplate mount) + 3x M2 10mm screws (duct and standoff mount) + 16x M2 3mm screws (motor mount) + 6x M2 nut * Motor: + Racerstar Racing Edition - 1104 7000KV * Props: + Gemfan Flash - 2540 - Tribalde * ESC: + Racestar 4 in 1 12A with DSHOT 600 * Recommended flight control: + Omnibus F4 with OSD * Lipo battery: 2S Lipo 60C * FPV cam/transmitter combo: + Eachine TX06 (supports smart audio) + or + Runcam Split Mini (link to Banggood) and AKK X5 (link to Banggood) * Buzzer and LED: 5V active buzzer (take it, if you don't want to search your quad for hours and hours.) * Further needed: + Transmitter and receiver of your choice. I use the Flysky I6 with SBUS mod + FPV goggles: Kylin Vision (link to Gearbest)
