Micro Quadcopter Frame
thingiverse
These are some frames designed specifically for building micro FPV quadcopters that offer the flexibility of running either a propeller shroud or not. The files provided cater to both 75mm and 65mm propellers, ensuring compatibility with popular 85x20 motors and numerous micro flight controllers on the market. When it comes to weight, the frame including standoffs weighs approximately 18 grams, significantly lighter for smaller diameter props, particularly when excluding the shroud - I've set infill at around 30% in my design, but this makes minimal difference in terms of overall weight. To assemble your micro FPV quadcopter, you'll need six standoffs measuring about 30mm tall (the version 6 files allow for slightly lower stand-offs), twelve screws, some double-sided tape, and a few cable ties. In addition to these mechanical components, you will also require all the necessary electronics, including the flight controller, PPM/SBUS receiver, battery, motors, camera, etc. To ensure a secure fit, I've oversized the motor mount holes by 1mm to accommodate ABS material, resulting in a nice press fit - simply adjust your XY sizing as needed to achieve optimal results.
