Micro Quadcopter Drone Balancing Tool and Stand

It's crucial to balance your quadcopter drone before taking it out for a spin. If it's not properly balanced, performance will suffer as the motors will be running at partial capacity just to counteract the imbalance and keep the drone level in the air. To get the most out of your hobby, 3D print this balancing tool and take your flying experience to new heights. If you build one of these tools and find it useful, please share a print and follow our work. For a step-by-step guide on how to balance a quadcopter, check out this short tutorial: https://youtu.be/Sqqb21iHwC8. Standard office push-pins such as these* are required for the job: https://amzn.to/2Dgzfo2. Be sure to visit our other projects at http://www.3drebeldesign.com. When it comes time to print, you may need to clean and possibly sand any burrs off the sliders to ensure smooth operation. Insert a push-pin into each slider and secure with a small amount of glue. The rubber band should be snug but not so tight that it pushes the pins deeply into the plastic of the quadcopter. It only takes light contact, and after many uses on the same drone, any scuffing seems to be superficial at worst. Since you may not have access to the same elastic bands, there are several possible positions for the elastic to sit and adjust tension accordingly. Good luck with your project!
