It's crucial to balance your quadcopter drone before taking flight. If it's not properly balanced, its performance will be severely impaired as the motors will be working overtime to compensate for the imbalance and keep the drone stable. To maximize your flying experience, 3D print this balancing tool and take your hobby to new heights. If you build one of these and find it useful, share your project by following us. To learn how to balance a quadcopter, watch this concise tutorial: https://youtu.be/Sqqb21iHwC8 Standard office-style push-pins are required for this project, such as those found here*: https://amzn.to/2Dgzfo2 Visit our other projects at http://www.3drebeldesign.com. Post-Printing Instructions: You may need to clean and possibly sand any burrs off the sliders to ensure smooth movement. Insert a push-pin into each slider and secure it with a small amount of glue. The rubber band should be snug, but not so tight that it pushes the pins deeply into the plastic of the quadcopter. It only takes light contact, and after repeated use on the same drone, any scuffing appears to be superficial at most. Since you may not have access to the same elastic bands, there are several possible positions for the elastic to sit and adjust tension. Good luck with your project!
