Micro Quad Racing Gates

Build your own indoor racing air gates or pylons by printing out the base parts, one or more connectors, and purchasing 1/2" pipe insulation from your local home improvement store. You can use a string to keep the gate feet together and optionally tape them down using painter's masking tape for added security. To adjust the dimensions of the gates according to your pipe insulation needs, refer to the included OpenSCAD file. I decorated my gates with colored duct tape to make them easily visible while flying FPV and to add a touch of personality. Check out these example FPV videos for inspiration: https://goo.gl/photos/Ztvv7cL7rKAUKwPk8 https://goo.gl/photos/LgNrdgLTeU6FtYQt9 Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm layers Infill: 50% or more Post-Printing Instructions: Follow these simple steps to complete your air gates: Just add 1/2" pipe insulation and colored tape, and you're ready to go! I used two pieces with a single connector for my gates, but feel free to make them larger or smaller if desired.
