Micro Plates for dumbbells (standard barbell plates)
thingiverse
⚠️ Ment for 1.25 lbs on either side of the dumbbell (do not use more than 2.5 lbs) This attaches to both sides of a standing dumbbell. I have tested it on 10 lbs up to 50 lbs, but I believe it will work for most dumbbell weights and shapes. I have only tried on the hex-looking ones. EXPLANATION OF HOW IT WORKS - The two channels are meant for any type of rubber band that wraps around a dumbbell holding it in place - the toroid-looking shape printed along with the plate loader is meant to friction lock the weight, allowing for a little movement. I modeled this to be a short-term fix as well as a cheaper alternative for purchasing a set of micro plates (costing $100 for 4) and will keep refining the design until it is perfect.
