Micro Pi Noon Balloon Holder
thingiverse
This is the upgraded balloon holder designed for seamless integration with the Micro Pi Noon bot. The wire pin holder has been significantly improved by replacing it with a custom-made component that allows for quick and easy replacement of balloons between battles. A bent coat hanger forms the base, reinforced with epoxy putty to securely hold the pin or needle in place. To add stability, a 90-degree bend is added at the rear, providing an ideal mounting point for the balloon holder. Two tie wraps keep everything in place, creating a sturdy platform for the pin and balloon holder. The original wire pin holder design had its limitations, being straight with a screw holding it in place on the bot chassis's rear. This has been rectified by adding the two 90-degree bends and securing them to the plastic support using tie wraps. The result is a more robust platform that provides better support for the pin and balloon holder. To utilize this improved design, simply push the balloon neck into the cone-shaped holder. Use a blunt instrument, such as a pencil or similar tool, to gently push the balloon through until it reaches the base hole. If you don't have access to a blunt instrument, fear not - I've included a handy "pusher" that gets the job done efficiently and effectively.
