Micro Paint Tray

Micro Paint Tray

thingiverse

Years ago I used Citadel paint for Warhammer, tried to paint some of my prints but they ended up as dry as the Sahara desert. I did some research and found Vallejo mentioned over and over, so I bought a set and thought "what's with the high price?" Paint can be expensive. And you can't just dip your brush into the bottles like I used to do with Citadel jars, so I searched for a paint tray here but they were too big or used up too much filament. TL;DR: So here is my micro paint tray... like everything I do, function comes before design. It has only a diameter of 60mm and the "holes" are from ~12-16mm. Vallejo may be pricey, but a few drops go a long way to painting a lot. Why waste filament or space for big paint trays which are meant for large paintings and so on? Hope you like it. PS: It looks a bit like a revolver chamber but that wasn't intentional.
