Micro mist sprayer
thingiverse
I built this micro mist sprayer for my vegetable garden's seedbed in a compact greenhouse. I designed it with ABS, as PLA isn't suitable due to its biodegradable nature, whereas ABS is not biodegradable and works perfectly. After printing, some assembly is required to get it functioning properly. You'll need to drill two 0.5 mm holes into the slots on top of the internal part by hand, taking care not to melt the plastic. Hold the drill bit at the angle indicated in the slot. The resulting vortex will spray water effectively through the cap's 1 mm central hole. To disperse the water jet, you can enlarge this hole with a drill bit. I use a 1.5 mm drill bit to create a precise central hole in the cap. Finally, I smooth and clean the edges of the hole using the tip of a larger drill bit.
