Micro Mini Twist Drill Bits Storage Box
thingiverse
Little, tiny drill bits are a real pain! Unless your drill bit set comes with a case you're forever trying to dig-out those teeny-tiny bits that are no bigger than a sewing pin. So, this is my first attempt at creating an organizing case for those super-cheap sets of drills that don't come with a case. No fancy covers, just tiny holes mostly in groups of two going from 1.2 mm to 3.1 mm diameter. This organizer is incredibly small - only 10.2 cm by 2.5 cm. This design isn't tailored for any specific set of micro/nano-sized drill bits, but I use it for my "Werkzeug Pin Vice" set. The holes are varied, so it can work with anything you've bought or had on hand. The holes only go down to a diameter that most printers can handle. The idea is to organize your bits in order of bore-width and height. The tiniest holes only go down 5 mm deep, so even the teeniest bits won't get swallowed up, not even in this tiny case. I use my set of bits: Werkzeug Pin Vice Hand Drill Bits (20PCS), ranging from 0.6 to 3.0 mm.
