A compact CNC plotter, created using three DVD drive stepper motors, offers a 40mm by 40mm drawing area. Key components include an Arduino NANO, three DRV8825 stepper motor drivers, and stepper motors from old DVD-ROMS. The power supply is 12v at 1000mA. GRBL enables the Arduino to interpret G-code, while Inkscape with Gcode Tools and GrblControl provide a controller application with G-Code visualization.
