The 2016 Olympics are rapidly approaching and the Micro:bit technology is highly capable of assisting its athletes. Ever wonder how sprinters start as quickly as they do? This is the Micro:Lympics Reaction game. Simply 3D print two platforms and paint Olympic rings for a creative design if desired. Simply follow this link to compile the code on your Micro:bit: [link]. Once coded, slide the Micro:bit under the platforms as shown in the photos. You now have it! At a cue, whether sound or visual, two players must compete to hit the platforms as fast as possible. The letter of the button that is hit first will appear on the screen and they've won. Enjoy playing! You'll need: 1 x 3D printer with filament 1 x BBC Micro:bit 2 x Wires with crocodile clips or 1 x JST connector (available at kitronik.co.uk) 1 x AAA battery pack 2 x AAA batteries Micro:bit coding Fast reaction timing is required!
