Micro Line and Elastic Lock

Micro Line and Elastic Lock

prusaprinters

I use a lot of small cord and elastic for DIY outdoor gear. The common line locks available are often of low quality. They may slip, or they may break easily. I don't like to rely on spring action. I designed my cord locks to work like rock-climbing belay tools. Simply thread the cord through the device's 3 holes. Start with the hole away from the keyhole side. The cord will slide (with enough friction to keep control) until you lock it into the keyhole located on one end.

Just scale this a bit if it's not quite the right size for your cord.
