To attach the mount to the quadcopter itself, another rubber band comes into play, providing a snug and adjustable fit. Protecting the camera from potential damage are strategically placed holes in the mount that accept small pieces of filament. These inserts help safeguard the delicate equipment against accidental impacts or rough landings.
