Micro EZ-Link servo pushrod connector (replace Dubro 849)
thingiverse
I was frantically fixing a badly damaged aircraft when I stumbled upon a glaring issue - I had misplaced the original Dubro 849 Micro EZ-Link connectors while re-installing the servos. The prospect of waiting for a replacement shipment was unbearable, so I swiftly designed and printed a pair of makeshift connectors to get back in the air ASAP. To my delight, these DIY connectors are performing flawlessly, and I'm now seriously considering leaving them on the plane as a permanent solution. A comparison photo showcases how the authentic connectors function, while another depicts the replacement unit installed on the aircraft. I've also included the FreeCAD source file for anyone looking to replicate this fix. Notably, the two holes on my printer turned out perfectly, but others may need to fine-tune their prints or adjust the control wires for optimal results.
