The drum mag is not a functional magazine but it does provide storage for up to 166 rounds of ammo, in a removable sled. The clamp system is as good as you can get with a standard 10rnd mag but it is not the best. You are able to glue the extension onto the magazine if you want to commit to that, but I suggest only using it for aesthetics, with the ammo and sled removed in use. This is by far my best work for form and function. This can be used as a pistol using a charger or a virgin receiver. You can modify a carbine to work with the 4.5" bull barrel but will require an SBR registration and a stock attached to the back rail. These files are to create a chassis for a Ruger 10/22 that should be procured through all proper legal channels. None of the parts designed here can be altered to be designated as a firearm under the NFA. I intend on adding updates for extended hand guard as well as a stock to use with the SBR setups. These will be provided for free to anyone that purchases the files as soon as they become available. The purchase is for the electronic files only. Scale up / down uniformly by 2540% in slicing software as needed.
