Micro Crossbow

Micro Crossbow

thingiverse

This is a micro crossbow I designed after the Sonic Dad micro crossbow. The pieces are separate in some files and all together in one file, with an additional file containing all the pieces except for the bow, which needs to be printed with 100% infill. If you're printing all the pieces separately, you'll need: * Two rails * One rail spacer * Two bow holders * Two outer grips * One inner grip * One bow or a stronger bow (the stronger bow can only be printed separately) Take a look at the assembly pictures; they show how to stick the pieces together with hot glue or another adhesive, and use embroidery floss for the bow string, reinforcement, and decoration. The stronger bow is thicker and therefore more powerful. I built a similar crossbow using popsicle sticks and a piece of wire from a pop-up tent some time ago, and it was even more powerful than this one. I haven't tried scaling up this design yet, but it could be interesting to do so!
