Micro:Bit Edge Connector
thingiverse
This Edge Connector (work in progress) aims to provide a low-cost breakout for easily connecting a Micro:Bit to a breadboard. The goal is to open up the circuit/hardware possibilities for this VERY capable little board. How I Designed This BBC Micro:Bit I've been waiting for one of these for months, and was aware that connections were limited to a few crocodile clips unless you had an edge connector! The goal of this project was to provide that - size vs my printer resolution is challenging. The final version will have a rethink on means of connection to meet the density of connection required. Work In Progress.... Whilst I'd hoped for a late entry into the Maker Ed Challenge, the board came just a little too late to get this to a finished state... Shared for inspiration, more work to follow.
