Inspired by various breadboard mounts for Arduinos and Raspberries, I decided to design this mount for the BBC micro:bit in combination with the sensor:bit extension board. Since I need this for educational purposes, I see the advantage that students can work with jumper cables instead of crocodile clips. In the pictured setting, I used a BBC micro:bit, a sensor:bit extension board from Aliexpress, sticky rubber feet from Amazon on the bottom, 3 pieces of M3 nylon screws and a 400 pin breadboard.
