Micro ATX Motherboard Tray (for small printers)

Micro ATX Motherboard Tray (for small printers)

thingiverse

Cut down in size for printing multiple pieces on any 220mm x 220mm printer, I noticed Thingiverse lacked micro ATX mobo trays suitable for smaller printers. This design prints perfectly on an Ender 3, taking nearly 9 hours to complete. The tray itself is 4mm thick to ensure a robust part. Refer to the posted render for assembly instructions (the render image shows the backside). The brackets print as one piece in the same order they are assembled. Use 4-40 x 1/2" machine screws to attach the brackets. Screw heads are recessed, but I still recommend using standoffs to secure the mobo. If holes are slightly off, you may need to calibrate your printer! Holes are amply large enough to accommodate tolerances of +/- .1%. Alternatively, use 2-56 x 1/2" screws. I plan to design a case for smaller printers in the near future, but this will give you a solid foundation for creating your custom design.
