I upgraded my inductive sensor from the standard SN04 to a more sensitive model. Most mounts for round sensors position them on the left and front of the print head, which by default keeps it off the bed during the autohome function. I merged several designs to create this custom setup. To attach the X-axis bearing block adapter, you'll need four 4MMx8 bolts. Remove the wings, which are there to prevent warping of the adapter. You might need to clean up the edges after removal. Before mounting the adapter, insert two M3 nuts into the lower hex-shaped holes to allow the adjustable base to bolt onto the adapter. Insert another M3 nut in the sensor bracket for the adjuster bolt (M3x45). You may need to lightly file or sand the back of the bracket to ensure smooth movement within the base. Be cautious not to overdo it, as a sloppy fit is undesirable. I used an M8x20 spring to provide the expansion force between the sensor bracket and the mounting bracket. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini (also known as Maylan M200) Rafts: Not Applicable Supports: Not Necessary Infill: 40% Notes: PLA works well for this application.
