Micro 3D Tie Wrap Filament guide
thingiverse
•• new version with slight changes - "clip 5_1" ••\nI tried several clips and guides designed for the M3D printer's external filament feed. Most worked fine but had problems of their own. Either they were too tight, making me worry I'd damage the harness, or too loose, causing them to pop off halfway through a print job. Moreover, most designs made it frustrating to get the filament to pass through the holes.\nI fixed two issues with one design. This new clip has a lip that securely attaches but isn't overly tight, then uses a regular bread tie wrap to keep it from coming loose. I actually cut the tie in half to make it more compact. Additionally, the filament passes through a slot, eliminating the struggle of getting it to feed correctly.\nOne potential problem is if your spool is positioned at the back. If it's on the left or right side, simply flip it over, and you should have no issues.
