•• new version with slight changes - "clip 5_1" •• I tried out several clips and guides designed for use with the M3D printer's external filament feed. Most worked fine but had problems either being too tight and potentially damaging the harness or too loose and popping off halfway through the print job. I made two improvements to one design, however. It now has a lip that clips on loosely, which is secured by a bread tie wrap to prevent it from coming free. To keep things tidy, I cut the wrap in half. The filament is fed through a slot, eliminating the frustration of trying to get it to feed through holes. The only issue with this design is if your spool is at the back; simply flip it over and you'll be fine. If it's on the left or right, flipping it will also resolve any problems.
