Micro 3 Jaw Scroll Chuck

I bring to you, the Micro 3 Jaw Scroll Chuck. This compact tool is perfect for fine-tuning rings and (very) light duty turning with soft woods. The overall diameter measures 37mm. As with any scroll chuck, it's crucial that the jaws interface correctly with their designated slot. Specifically, Jaw 1 should align with Slot 1, and so on. On the interior face of the Housing are debossed 'dots' to indicate each slot, while identical markings can be found on the top surfaces of each jaw. You can print this design in a single shot, but I found it more efficient to print each component separately. To achieve optimal results: * No supports are required. * Avoid using a brim or raft on the jaws unless you're prepared for an exacto knife to tidy up the post-processing process (a skirt works best). This design features an M3 screw as its shank. Initially, I had the hex end of the screw getting chucked up, but after reaming the 3mm axial blind hole, I reversed the direction and reaped better overall performance. To assemble this scroll chuck, you'll need: * 1 x M3 bolt, measuring 25-35mm in length * 1 x M3 nut * 2 x M2 bolts, each 9mm long * 2 x M2 nuts
