
Michael's Wheel

This robot wheel on Thingiverse was designed for Lego axle connectors; however, its hole was printed too small. To fix this issue, I drilled it out to be slightly larger than 7mm and shimmed the connector with electrical tape, although a more ideal solution would have been using gap-filling epoxy. The rover-style robot is controlled by a Basic Stamp and has a basic two servo/caster drivetrain. If Michael ever completes it (and that's part of the fun), pictures will be posted.
