Mic Stand Knob

I've lost track of how many mic stand knobs I've misplaced over the decades while making Celtic music - more than thirty years now, in fact! The local music store just can't seem to keep them in stock, and those standard issue knobs are always too tiny for my arthritic hands to grip securely. But 3D printing has come through for me once again! These prints cover only the knob portion: you'll need 6mm hex bolts for the rest - I personally use 6mm x 25mm (about an inch long) ones. The guy at the hardware store might try to tell you those bolts are a quarter-inch, but don't believe him! Note that the hex socket on the knob is slightly too small on purpose: simply squeeze the hex head of the bolt into place using pliers and it will hold tight. If you need help getting the bolt in, heat up the knob a bit to soften the plastic. There are two designs available: a 20mm (just under an inch) and a 26mm (just over an inch), both intended for easier gripping than standard issue knobs.
