I designed a quick clip attachment to fit onto an "on-stage stands" microphone stand that has a 5/8 inch diameter at the end, but it could potentially work with other mic stands too. I printed this clip in PLA and it clips neatly over the mic stand. With a 20% infill and a 1mm shell, it seems to be holding up well so far, supporting my studio headphones just fine. It also serves as a counterweight when the mic boom is extended far out.
