When using Microsoft Livecam's mic for conferencing, I encountered the issue of background noise interfering with my audio output. In response, I decided to take matters into my own hands and spent 17 minutes crafting a solution. Full transparency: at this point, I have not thoroughly tested whether the directional sound scoop successfully eliminates background noise, but I am optimistic that it will offer some level of assistance in our bustling office environment. The uploaded STL file is designed to allow for a secure mechanical fit of the directional sound scoop to my camera, with what I anticipate to be positive results. For now, I have printed the unit using a partial ring clip, which is securely fastened to my camera with a dab of crazy glue to prevent spinning and maintain a stable position - (refer to accompanying images for a closer look)
