This is a simple frame to create a pop filter for a microphone. There is a lot of info on creating pop filters - including using nylon stockings and wire mesh. The basic idea is to prevent the "pop" when a high volume/velocity of air is produced when you sing/say letters like "B" ("buh") and "P" ("puh")...at least in English...other languages may have different letters/phrases that cause the pop!

While this version is specifically for an Apogee Mic, the only thing you'd really need to change is the mount attachment and/or maybe size of the extension depending on how large your mic is.

This version also uses quite a thick fabric designed for speaker enclosures which is supposed to be audio frequency neutral.

I've used 5.5mm brass threaded inserts and M3 20mm bolts to assemble.

Print instructions

Nothing special about this design. Should print pretty easily.

That said, the version shown was printed with a combination of clear PLA (Flashforge) and ABS (TierTime)...don't ask...had a few dramas with bed adhesion.

The attached print file has all models, is setup for a 0.6mm nozzle, and Tiertime ABS using supports (to make the holes cleaner/easier for the bolts and threaded inserts).
