Mic Boom Stand Hinge
thingiverse
Hinge I made for a floor standing microphone arm with a 3/18 - 16 thread. The threads were created by Dan Kirshner and his "threads.scad" library, which is included here for ease of use. The 'thread test' still file contains only the threads, scaled up by 1.1x to verify that they will print correctly. This file was not generated directly from the OpenSCAD file but rather by compiling the hinge and using Netfabb Basic to remove the threads. Caution: Not suitable for use with heavy or expensive equipment. I have no control over print quality or materials used, so any damage caused is entirely the responsibility of the end user. Print Settings: Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20%+ Notes: Designed to be printed without supports and in its intended orientation (both pieces horizontal). However, you have the option to choose your own settings.
