MIB Noisy Cricket Base
thingiverse
I designed a custom base to showcase my upgraded Noisy Cricket, which I'd modified from Jurrasicpaul's original design. To get it done quickly, I used TinkerCAD to create the base in no time. Next, I printed it on my Monoprice Select Mini using Inland black and white PLA filament with 20% infill density. The base was printed at a layer height of .175mm and a speed of 60mm/sec, while maintaining a temperature of 205 degrees Celsius. To achieve crisp details in the logo, I added an M600 code to the GCode file at layer 24, allowing me to switch filaments seamlessly. Then, I printed the logo at a reduced layer height of .0875mm and a speed of 25mm/sec to ensure precise details came out well.
